Heb 1:1-4 GNT [Maharzan’s Translation]

(1) Πολυμερῶς καὶ πολυτρόπως πάλαι ὁ Θεὸς λαλήσας τοῖς πατράσιν ἐν τοῖς προφήταις,

In many parts and in many ways in the past {the} God having spoken to [our] {the} fathers through/by the prophets,

(2) ἐπ᾿ ἐσχάτου τῶν ἡμερῶν τούτων ἐλάλησεν ἡμῖν ἐν υἱῷ, ὃν ἔθηκε κληρονόμον πάντων, δι᾿ οὗ καὶ τοὺς αἰῶνας ἐποίησεν·

in {the} these final days He has spoken to us through [the] Son, whom He appointed [the] heir of all things, through whom also He created the material universe;

(3)ὃς ὢν ἀπαύγασμα τῆς δόξης καὶ χαρακτὴρ τῆς ὑποστάσεως αὐτοῦ, φέρων τε τὰ πάντα τῷ ῥήματι τῆς δυνάμεως αὐτοῦ, δι᾿ αυτοῦ καθαρισμὸν ποιησάμενος τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν ἡμῶν ἐκάθισεν ἐν δεξιᾷ τῆς μεγαλωσύνης ἐν ὑψηλοῖς,

who being {the} radiance of the glory and image of His essence, bringing all things by the Word of His power, having made cleansing of sin through Him, He sat by the right hand side of the Majesty on high,

(4)τοσούτῳ κρείττων γενόμενος τῶν ἀγγέλων, ὅσῳ διαφορώτερον παρ᾿ αὐτοὺς κεκληρονόμηκεν ὄνομα.

having become so much better than the angels, He has inherited a name more excellent than they.
