Only the Gospel of Luke has this story of Jesus’ post-resurrection appearance to two of his disciples on the road to Emmaus. According to Luke 24:13-35, resurrected Jesus revealed himself to them in their house in Emmaus. This is an animated story-telling of Jesus’ post-resurrection.
